Highlights from today...

We finished Tales of a Fourth Grade Nothing, you will never believe what Fudge did today. Ask us to tell you about the ending of the book. 

Throughout the morning we continued to work on the symbols of Alberta, focusing on locating where Edmonton and Calgary are on a map and the provincial flag and what each part represents.

Please read the Principal's message 

Beginning Monday, we will have some changes to our lunch time and recess therefore we are working towards having a morning snack around 10:15. Often students are hungry before this so I am encouraging them to eat a big breakfast and maybe have a quick snack around 8 right before school begins. Next week our eating time will be 12:20 where as it is 11:55 right now. This will give each group the same amount of time outside and space between the groups coming in and out to help avoid passing other groups. 

Other changes that will occur beginning on Monday will be a soft entry in the morning as students arrive at school. Students will be able to go into their classrooms (through their designated doors) when they arrive and teachers will be in the room. We are hoping this will alleviate some congestion and allow us to get our day started without waiting in so many lines.  

Tuesday at 4:00, we will have a Google Meet for you to see our classroom, I will post a video for you to watch and look at some of our work.

Please ensure your child can log into their google classroom account independently, if you are having difficulties please send me a message, we will also practice next week in the classroom. sldeibert@cbe.ab.ca 

On Thursday and Friday we will be using Microsoft Teams for conferences a link will be sent to your email, you will need to use a computer or download the app before your scheduled time. (More instructions to come)
