Highlights from Today...
We are continuing to work on routines as we enter and exit the building throughout the day
In math we discussed place value and what it means, in our books we created a flip chart to represent numbers from ones to millions.
Fudge turned three in our book today and you should hear about his birthday party!
In social studies we started with some mapping. We are making a map of Canada by colouring and labeling all the provinces and territories. (We should finish this by tomorrow). We watched a video to help us visualize where all the provinces are. Canada Geography
We also listened to a song about a few of Canada's coins, students should be able to tell you what the picture is on the penny, nickel, dime and quarter.
