Highlights from Today...
We had a welcome back virtual assembly today and the admin team read the whole school a story and introduced themselves with and without masks
In literacy we read more of Tales of a Fourth Grade Nothing, you wouldn't believe what Fudge did today (he thought he was a bird)
In math we had a quick assessment to see what we remember from last year and to give a good starting point for our new learning.
We also began a visual journal page called 'Me in Numbers' where we could describe things about ourselves using numbers for example, I am in grade 4, I am 9 years old, my favourite number is, I have __ siblings, etc.
Reminders...
- Important forms came home today, please review information, sign and return
- Label all belongings
- Bring water bottles, wearing a mask all day makes us thirsty
