Day 17

 Happy Birthday Nate

Highlights from Today...

Our day started with a little cursive practice, we wrote the word Autumn, practicing connecting letters. It is important to be able to read cursive handwriting, therefore understanding what each letter looks like and how they are formed is a skill we will practice each week.

Using our notes from our Autumn walk and the leaf rubbings as a background each student successfully wrote an autumn poem.

Most of our morning was used to complete and catch up on any incomplete work and organizing our bins.

Reminders...

No school on Friday due to conferences

The blog will be transferring over to the announcement section of Google Classroom, please let me know if you have any difficulties logging in

Coming up next week:

  • September 30 is both the Terry Fox Run and Orange Shirt Day
